The charm of South Africa lies in the diversity of its topography, climate, fauna and flora and people. Even its agricultural sector reflects this with a variety of subtropical fruit, grain, deciduous fruit, viticulture, sugar cane, livestock and game being cultivated and bred.
Guttera Tours was formed to design, promote and implement agriculture tours to and from South Africa. We are a proud member of the Agricultural Tour Operators International (ATOI) and use only highly skilled staff, all of whom have agricultural backgrounds. We specialise in tailor-made itineraries that will bring you closer to nature and the farming activities of your choice, as well as introduce you to our friendly, professional and effective farmers.

South Africans love to Braai (BBQ) and the Bonsmara is a cross breed of cattle known for its high quality beef. Professor Jan Bonsma created the breed through criss-cross mating of Afrikaner, Hereford and Shorthorn animals.
On average, one South African eats just over 3 kilograms of pork, about 4 kilograms of mutton, and between 15 and 20 kilograms of beef each year.
Another truly South African breed is the Boer Goat. Developed in South Africa in the early 1900s for meat production, the Boer Goat is widely recognised as the standard against which meat producing goats across the world are measured.
